Let’s get those Strike Pledges signed!
- Management’s wage proposal came up a little but is still below other nearby contracts are settling at and not what nurses are telling us would be enough to retain them.
- 6% second full pay period after ratification.
- No retro pay.
- 4% next summer, first full pay period after July 1, 2022.
- 4% & 4% first full pay period after Nov. 1, 2022 and 2023 respectively.
- 6% second full pay period after ratification.
- Management continues to refuse to agree Per Diem nurses would be treated like all other nurses that cannot be disciplined or discharged without just cause.
- Management still has not provided any substantive proposals to improve staffing even though ADOs reporting patient safety concerns have increased significantly.
- Safety of nurses inside and outside of the hospital is serious. Providing whistles for nurses to blow is not a solution.
- We need management to do more, do better.
