It is time to take a vote to authorize a strike

Your bargaining team recommends a “yes” vote
We have been bargaining for over a year. We have rallied and picketed and negotiated hard. Unfortunately, Providence Kadlec management remain insistent that they be able to cut your PTO, stealing back your earned benefits, even as Providence earned $1 billion in profits so far this year. Providence corporate has ignored our concerns over fair treatment and safe staffing.
We also have seen management commit multiple Unfair Labor Practices, illegal actions aimed at diminishing our power, including interfering with nurses right to concerted activity and failing to bargain in good faith.
Our strike assessment and strike preparations have demonstrated that we are strong, and we are prepared to continue our fight for a fair contract.
Your bargaining team has worked as hard as we can at the bargaining table to push back on the take-aways management has proposed. Now we need every single nurse to stand behind us by voting YES. Yes, you are willing to strike if you have to. Yes, you will stand on the picket line. Yes, you will send the most powerful message to management that we are not backing down.
