Contract Negotiation Update
Posted Jun 26, 2020
On June 26, 2020 your negotiation team met with hospital management for the 4th time. We made some progress, coming to tentative agreements on bulletin boards and shift differentials. However we continue to be far apart on wages. Additionally, management continues to insist on loosening restrictions on where a nurse can float, giving travelers and agency nurses priority in the low census rotation, cutting per diem pay, and cutting healthcare. Management is also refusing to agree to retaliation protections.
We hope that hospital administration will come prepared to continue to make progress toward a FAIR CONTRACT at our next session on July 7!
