To all the wonderful nurses at St. Joe’s we want to wish you a very happy Nurses Week. It is our absolute privilege to represent you and all that you do for our community. We have already drawn the lucky winners for Monday and Tuesday’s giveaways including custom etched pint glasses, Cinemark gift cards, and Starbucks cards. We will continue the giveaways through 5/12/2024. Look on the local unit Facebook page or check your emails to see if you won!

In addition to the daily prize drawings, we are hosting a catered breakfast on 5/9/24 in Lagerquist A from 0630-1000. The breakfast is catered by our friends at Masonry Cafe Catering, and we are thankful for their generous help! Come down and grab some food! We will also be bringing breakfast burritos around to those who can’t make it down to the serving area.

There is also an ongoing Union Board make-over contest. We have already seen some amazing entries that showcase how creative nurses can be! The contest ends 5/12/2024, and winners will be voted on by bargaining unit members. The winning unit will receive a gift valued at $100 and will be chosen by the winning unit.

We are proud to be WSNA nurses at St. Joe’s, and even more proud of all the progress this bargaining unit has made over the past years. We look forward to showing our solidarity and unified strength at the bargaining table.
