We have reached a tentative agreement!  Informational picket cancelled

Management finally heard us and accorded us the respect we have sought since we started negotiations. They brought us a proposal that the team could bring to all of you with their recommendation. A summary will be forthcoming shortly. The vote will be held on May 10 and we will send location and times as soon as we have them. We have even improved on previous TAs!

Highlights include a market adjustment of an effective 6.25% across-the-board wage increase retroactive to the first full pay period (FFPP) after 3/31/22. A wage increase of 3.25% FFPP after 3/31/2023; and a wage increase of 3% FFPP after 3/31/2024.

They raised the NTL and RTL rate to $4.25 (an increase of $1.00 from our previous TA).

Standby pay will be $4.75 per hour under 40 hours per pay period; NEW - $7.50 per hour for every hour of standby at or above 40 hours per pay period.

NEW Callback: Three (3) hours minimum callback pay effective 90 days following ratification for any nurse called in from either pre-scheduled or mandatory low census for the following departments: OR, PACU, Special Procedures/IR, Cath Lab, Imaging/Endoscopy, EP Lab, Cardiac Recovery, L&D, SANE nurses.

Float unit differential: $4.00/hr (increase of a dollar from our previous TA).

Floating outside of unit: $3.00/hr (increase of $1.25 from our previous TA; an increase of $2.00 from the current rate!).

And more details to come!

Thank you to everyone that showed up to observe, who wore WSNA T-shirts to show your solidarity, all of the activists and unit reps who gathered signatures on petitions and picket pledges, who posted yard signs and car signs, and who supported the team from near and far.
