Dear WSNA bargaining unit members at Skagit Regional Health:

During these challenging times WSNA is working to stay on top of all developments, including Governor Inslee’s newly announced proclamation which, among other things, requires nurses to be fully vaccinated or sign a declination form prior to October 18, 2021. Please note however that the effects of this law on the nurses is a mandatory subject of bargaining.

We are in the process of bargaining these effects with the employer and this is a joint effort with all the unions representing employees of Skagit Regional Health including our labor union partners at UFCW and CVHNA. We will have more information shortly.

WSNA strongly encourages nurses to be vaccinated and we work diligently to keep the website current with the latest information. You may access an FAQ on the wsna.org web page. At this time, declination / exemption forms should be submitted to Skagit Human Resources.
