We really want to say a special thank you to your elected officers and members of the negotiation team. They will be at the voting sessions! Please come by and say thank you for taking on the battle on behalf of the nurses and sitting across from management through these sessions. This takes effort and time they all have willingly sacrificed. They will also tell you the experience was an education! Here is your team:

Lacey Bernick RN, BSN
Day Surgery/PACU

I joined the union because I like my benefits and annual raises they negotiate for me. They are the one group who has always had my back. This year it was finally time to give back.

Hannah Guy, RN, BSN
MPC, WSNA Treasurer

I joined the WSNA bargaining team because I want to give my fellow coworkers a voice. I want to make our work environment a better place.

Cheryl Pedersen RN, CEN
Emergency Department, WSNA Grievance Officer

I joined the team because I wanted to be part of the solution. Trying to help make Skagit a better place for nurses to work and being part of the solution were my main goals for joining the executive team!

Dee Ann Wolf, BSN,RN,CNOR
Staff Nurse Operating Room

I joined WSNA for job protection and security. I have worked outside the contract and promised benefits and pay were reduced at will.

Liz Rainaud, MSN, RNC-OB
FBC, WSNA Chair

I believe these are my fourth or fifth contract negotiations. Being a Negotiating Team member sounded interesting and I always prefer to be part of the solution. I urge each one of you to become more familiar with our contract and get involved!

Jessica Googe, RN
Endoscopy, WSNA Secretary

I have been at Skagit for 13 years. I joined the bargaining team because the union had my back during a difficult situation.

Rachel Yates, RN
Urgent Care, WSNA Membership Officer

I joined WSNA to support my coworkers. When we all stand together, we are stronger. I wanted to help maintain the benefits of our contract and get you what you have been working so hard for.

See you at the vote!
