Who do you want to represent you as WSNA local unit leadership for the next three years?

Local Unit Officers

Your WSNA officers at Seattle King County are volunteer leaders who are elected or appointed by their WSNA member peers. The last contract negotiations have shown that there are staff nurses who not only care about the well-being and working conditions you share, but they are also trusted and respected by their peers to promote your collective agency in the workplace. Truly bringing a strong contract to life means the represented nurses stand in defense of it by running for office, participating in contractual committees, inviting their peers to become engaged WSNA members, and supporting the local unit’s goals.

Seattle King County staff nurses ARE WSNA!

In this way, the morale of the local unit is improved from within by knowing and exercising the rights you have as union nurses. The time is now to submit nominations for WSNA officers who will represent the staff nurses for the next three years. Current officer positions openings are for chair and vice-chair. See the nominations link for general descriptions of the officer positions.

If you would like to nominate yourself or a peer for either of these positions, include the name of the RN and the position(s) for which they are being nominated here or use the QR code below. Self-nominations are encouraged, and training is provided for all positions. Speak with the RN you are nominating to let them know you see them as a leader who is receiving your support for nomination.
