We have a tentative agreement!
Posted Sep 24, 2019
It's official!
We would like to share the great news that we have reached a tentative agreement that we believe allows the hospital to recruit and retain nurses! We spent many sessions discussing and successfully pushing back on the employer’s proposals to take away leave time and to institute insurance premium sharing. We stood strong to protect our annual leave and sick time. We ended up with wage increases that keep the hospital competitive at 3%/3%/3% in addition to other differential increases that we are excited to tell you about. The bargaining team thanks all the nurses for the support you have shown for all these months.
We will be holding the contract ratification vote on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 – room details to follow. Your team and chief negotiator will be on hand to answer your questions.
7:30 – 9 a.m. – main campus
11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Bellevue
2:30 – 4 p.m. – Main
6 – 9 p.m. – Main
