As we gear up for contract negotiations, it is important that we hear from each of you. It takes all of us to win a strong and fair contract. Please encourage your fellow nurses to fill out the survey. Remember, YOU are the union and our power and strength come from our collective voice and actions.

A huge ‘thank you’ to those who have already completed the survey and those who participated in the virtual negotiation prep sessions over the weekend. Your input was valuable! We plan to have additional sessions at a future date (TBD). Also, we have removed the survey deadline to ensure we capture as many WSNA nurses as possible.

Benefits of completing the survey:

1. You let us know what your priorities are for bargaining a new contract.
2. It gives your negotiations team guidance regarding the proposals that are made at the bargaining table.
3. It gives us a sense of what you are willing to do to fight for a STRONG and FAIR contract.
4. Your participation helps us identify significant issues at Seattle Children’s.
5. You make your voice heard!

Note: It has been brought to our attention that if you go out of the survey, your responses may not be saved. At this time, we are encouraging you to complete the survey in one sitting if possible as we explore ways to resolve the issue that has been raised. Thank you for your patience!
