Children’s administration notified WSNA this week of the findings of a fungus in some of the operating rooms. It is our understanding the hospital has hired an industrial hygienist to assist with remediation of the fungus and some of the rooms will remain closed until the problem has been corrected. WSNA is closely monitoring the situation.
