Nurses week is coming to a calendar near you!
Posted Apr 16, 2021
Your WSNA officers are proud and honored to serve the Seattle Children's WSNA members, and we are celebrating all of you, who do such great work every single day. We are celebrating you during Nurses Week, May 6-12, 2021
1. Who has been having a hard time lately? Who consistently goes above and beyond? Who did that one small thing that brightened your day or a patient’s day and deserves recognition? Nominate a WSNA nurse colleague to win a gift card. The last day to make your nomination is April 30 and prizes will be announced and delivered throughout Nurses Week.
2. Essay contest. What does WSNA mean to you? Maybe it’s all about our contract. Maybe WSNA has helped you personally. Maybe you are proud of WSNA’s legislative work. Tell us, in your own words, what WSNA means to you. Top three essay winners will receive prizes: a one-night stay at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle, a gift certificate and Trophy cupcakes for your unit! Essay deadline is 5 p.m. May 11. Winners announced May 12. (Essay prizes are limited to WSNA members in good standing.)
3. Officers will be rounding throughout Nurses Week, with treats to show our appreciation of your hard work and dedication, and support of our union.
If you are not a member of WSNA, join today. If you are not on our side, whose side are you on? https://www.wsna.org/membership
