We have a Tentative Agreement and we are voting on April 15!

We met with management for our fifth bargaining session. We came to agreement on the latest outstanding issues: low census, wages, premiums, shift differentials, meal waivers, and management's new proposal to contract international nurses.

  • Wage Increases per year: 9% - 6% - 5%. That's 20% over 3 years.
  • Evening Shift Differential increased to  $3.00/hour
  • Night Shift Differential increased to $5.oo/hour
  • Preceptor Pay increased to $2.00/hour
  • Low Census - Max mandatory Low Census will be 48 hours, including time spent in low census standby and low census callback, per six months.

VOTING

The contract vote will be held on Tuesday April 15. This will be our first time voting electronically.

The voting window will be from 06:00 to 20:00 on April 15. You must submit your vote during this time.

You will receive your voting ballot via email on Monday, April 14. It will come from Election Buddy.

Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive a ballot. If your email has changed since joining WSNA, we may not have your current email address. If that's the case, notify jstewart@wsna.org before the voting window closes.

Informational Session Tuesday April 15 from 17:00-19:00

Your bargaining team, WSNA negotiator, and Nurse Representative will be in Conference Room 1 to answer questions and hear any concerns or issues you may have. Please drop by. There will not be any paper voting. Using your electronic ballot, you may vote on your phone, tablet or personal computer.
