Update on incentives
WSNA continues to advocate for meaningful incentives for nurses across the state and this is no exception at Holy Family. At this time administration has signaled to us that the bonuses will remain the same.
We have advocated for IV Therapy to be included within the incentive structure and we are happy to report this important department has been included.
The current incentive MOUs expire April 30, 2022.
Update on association grievance
We have recently learned that supplementals within Family Maternity Center were being denied their contractual rights to change their stratified scale from 18% to 16%. Your WSNA/HFH contract states that supplementals can change their percentages twice annually. We amended this grievance to cover all supplementals within Holy Family. On Feb. 18 our step two grievance was presented, and we received a denial from Holy Family administration on Feb. 28. We are advancing this association grievance to step three.
Officer nominations
Have you thought about being more involved with the union? Do you know someone who you think would make a great leader? Be on the look out for officer nomination forms which will be sent on March 4, 2022.
All nominees must be in good standing.
ADOs
Please submit ADOs. ADOs in their electronic form are a real time tool to document your working conditions. You can fill out an ADO via your smartphone and they are an important tool to track what is happening in the facility shift by shift, day by day. Our last staffing meeting was Feb. 17, 2022 and we had many ADOs that could not be resolved. If you have submitted an ADO please make sure WSNA.org is on your safe list for emails to your personal inbox as with some ADOs that are submitted additional information is needed.
