RN/LPN scope of practice webinar August 7 Free for WSNA members!
Posted Jul 29, 2024
RNs and LPNs are working side-by-side in employment settings now more than ever. Where does the RN scope of practice end and the LPN scope of practice begin? Is there any overlap? How can RNs and LPNs work together to ensure safe practice and patient outcomes?
The purpose of this webinar is to discuss the Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse scopes of practice as defined by the Washington State Board of Nursing (WABON). In addition, the Scope of Practice Decision Tree will also be reviewed.
While questions about specific employment practices are beyond the scope of this presentation, WSNA still wants to hear if you have concerns about workplace practices. Any questions that are not able to be answered by the presenters will be directed to the appropriate WSNA staff member for follow-up.
This webinar is open to ALL WSNA members! We encourage you to attend live so you can participate in the presentation and Q&A. Even if you can’t attend the webinar live, a recording of the event and CNE will be available to registrants for 30 days after the live event. The webinar will be hosted through the WSNA Learning Management System, and a link to the event will be provided in the confirmation email. No separate Zoom link will be sent.
