We will tally the votes promptly at 7:45 p.m. We will post the results on our facebook page Tuesday night and send an email out Wednesday.

Highlights:

We came to a Tentative Agreement after six sessions and recommend a “yes” vote.

• Ratification bonus of $1,600 for *all* nurses, regardless of FTE.
• Preceptor pay increase to $2.00 an hour, up from $1.50.
• No takeaways from last contract.
• Kept Rest Between Shifts language in the contract
• Fought off management’s attempt to remove the contract language which won many of us a pay increase and resulted in a monetary settlement in January, “An existing nurse’s hourly rate shall not be less than newly hired nurses with comparable or less experience."
• Increased number of union representatives at the quarterly Nurse Practice Committee Meetings.
• Contract expires October 2025.

Wages:

Year 1: 2% the first full pay period after ratification and another 2% after the first full pay period after 1/15/23

Year 2: 2.5% first full pay period after 10/1/23

Year 3: 2.5% first full pay period after 10/1/24

This was a hard-fought and difficult set of negotiations. We carried the work throughout the pandemic, we were constantly short, always showed up, and gave the best care. Fresenius doesn’t run without nurses.
