Bargaining session # 18 in the books!

The bargaining team met with Confluence yesterday for our eighteenth negotiation session. It was a good day at the bargaining table; we reached one tentative agreement on rest and meal breaks, and we had productive conversations on a number of other topics. We think we are really close to reaching agreement on some of our most important items, including rules surrounding preceptor pay, pool nurses, how we define a standard workday, weekend work requirements, and how you’ll be placed on the wage scale. The team left feeling like we were making progress and there is a finish line in sight.

We return to the table tomorrow (Wednesday Sept. 11) for session 19. We plan to continue conversations around step placement on the wage scale, pool nurse work, and much more.
