We have a fully ratified contract

IMG 3126

Yesterday, the Board of Commissioners ratified our contract as well. Our contract becomes effective on September 2, 2024 – Labor Day. We are reviewing and finalizing the red-lined draft of the contract and will post it to the website as soon as it’s finished.

It’s not too late to donate annual leave to the bargaining unit to off-set the number of volunteer hours they spent during our contract fight. Contact Nurse Rep Sue Dunlap at sdunlap@wsna.org or any bargaining team member for the form or more information.

Still not a dues-paying member? This is the easiest and most fundamental way to increase our power as a union. Join HERE.

Get more involved! Nominate yourself or someone else who’d be spectacular to be an officer, a unit representative, or just a more engaged union member (for example, learn why it’s important for WSNA nurses to regularly attend Board of Commissioners meetings). Contact Nurse Rep Sue Dunlap at sdunlap@wsna.org or an officer for the form or more information.

Congratulations, everyone! We made great strides in this contract, and our work isn’t over yet.

In solidarity,
Liz Rainaud, FBC  and WSNA local unit chair
Rachel Yates, Family Medicine and WSNA local unit treasurer
Kim McCann, FBC  and WSNA local unit membership officer
Kyla Malean , OR  and Negotiating team member
Lacey Bernick, PERI OP  and Negotiating team member
