2025 WSNA membership dues

WSNA membership dues rate effective Jan. 1, 2025.

This story was published in the December 2024 issue of The Washington Nurse.

The following is a list of dues rates effective Jan. 1, 2025, for members and information on how the money is allocated.

For members represented for collective bargaining by WSNA

Dues paid by WSNA members represented for collective bargaining (union members) are adjusted annually on January 1 based on a formula approved by the membership in 1991 and revised in 2003. The monthly dues will increase $4.98 per month for members working an average of 80 or more hours per month (0.05-1.0 FTE).  The monthly increase is less for those union members working fewer than 80 hours in a month.

The formula for the WSNA portion of the dues is based on the statewide average of the fifth-step wage rate for RNs in WSNA-represented bargaining units. This calculation is made from existing contracts in effect on July 1 each year.

WSNA union member dues also include per capita dues to our national union, the AFT AFL-CIO, a $10 per year WSNA mobilization fund assessment, and dues to the Region/District Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association.

Please see the accompanying dues rate chart for your specific dues rate for 2025.
