Commission restarts late fees for license renewals and reactivations

On April 4, the Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission (NCQAC) reinstated late fees for all late license renewals and reactivations.
NCQAC requested the waiver of late fees for renewals and reactivations on March 31, 2020 under WSR 20-08-125. They did this to help nurses return to active status in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
Starting April 4, all late renewals must include the $50 late fee. All reactivation applications must include both the $50 late fee and the $70 expired license reissuance fee.
