What happened in Olympia this year?

The second longest legislative session in Washington State history finally ended on Friday, July 10. The session concluded with new opportunities and authority for ARNPs, unresolved challenges for school nurses and enforcement of nurse staffing committees still looking for a champion. The following list gives an overview of the 2015 session winners and losers, bills we were supporting and some we were only following.
