1.5 CNE contact hours

June 12, 2024

11:30am–1:00pm

Nurses in all kinds of work setting experience workplace violence at an escalating rate, and yet it is not part of a nurses’ job description.  What steps should you take next when you or a coworker have been a victim of workplace violence?  How can you help protect your coworkers by reporting incidents of workplace violence?

The purpose of this webinar is to highlight interventions should you become a victim of workplace violence. Content focuses on immediate response to workplace violence on-the job-injury and includes a summary of avenues for reporting events of violence. A case study will be reviewed, with ample opportunity for learner reflection and Q&A.  By participating in this webinar, 90% of attendees will state one way they intend to incorporate knowledge of workplace violence reporting in the professional practice environment. Printable references and resources are also included.

This webinar is open to ALL WSNA members!  We encourage you to attend live so you can participate in the case study and Q&A. Even if you can’t attend the webinar live, a recording of the event and CNE will be available to registrants for 30 days after the live event. The webinar will be hosted through the WSNA Learning Management System, and a link to the event will be provided in the confirmation email. No separate Zoom link will be sent.
