2022 Advocacy Camp
January 24, 2022
8:30am–9:30am
The 2022 legislative session is just around the corner, and as we continue to navigate the pandemic, our annual WSNA Advocacy Camp will be online again this year. The online format makes it easier for nurses and students across the state to attend – will you join us?
Join us virtually for WSNA’s 2022 Advocacy Camp on Monday January 24, from 8:30 to 11:30am.
Our health care system is facing a staffing crisis, here in Washington and across the country. We need every strong nursing voice to push for meaningful change in the 2022 session. WSNA, along with the other health care unions, will be fighting for legislation to help recruit and retain nurses on the frontlines of the pandemic. With the need for nurses growing, we will be fighting for more resources for nursing school faculty in our state’s community & technical colleges and supports for students attending those programs. To prevent more nurses from leaving the field, we will fight for stronger enforcement mechanisms for our state’s staffing and mandatory breaks and overtime laws.
Your strong nursing voices will make an impact in Olympia! Join us for our 2022 Advocacy Camp to learn how to build relationships with your elected lawmakers and make a difference for nurses.
