The bargaining team appreciates the feedback we have received regarding the lack of supplies in the Hospital. These issues were addressed in negotiations. We have received the Hospital’s assurances that the problems we are all seeing at Regional are temporary. While we all recognize that the Hospital has gone through several tough years, we also know that this hospital cannot rebuild without an investment in skilled and committed nurses.

Our bargaining team is committed to fighting for a fair contract and is proud to be partnering with the bargaining teams from Toppenish, SEIU at Regional and SEIU at Toppenish for that purpose.

Plan to attend the upcoming local unit meeting and bring a co-worker for a full negotiation update and action plan to demonstrate why our healthcare providers need to be the priority if the Hospital intends to rebuild.
