VM changes to insurance

The hospital has announced that it intends to change the qualification for fulltime benefits from 0.75 FTE to 0.8 FTE. We believe these changes are prohibited and would result in devastating financial impacts for 0.75 FTE nurses and their families, if covered. WSNA is pushing back and will be meeting with management in the upcoming weeks.  Stay tuned!  We will also be discussing per diem benefits for those who meet the 30hr/week average to qualify for health insurance.
