Together we win!
Posted Apr 8, 2021
Last month we submitted Unfair Labor Practice complaints (ULPs) on behalf of those of us who felt that Tacoma General Management was interfering with our protected union activities, as well as trying to spread anti-union sentiment.
We have received notice that Region 19 found merit in the following complaints:
- Making threatening comments about Union members and/ or participation in Union activities
- Making denigrating statements about WSNA to employees
- Taking Coercive actions against members and Union activity.
We are very excited about this incredible win! We have additional ULPs that are still being investigated and we are confident that we will prevail there as well.
Thank you to all the nurses who spoke up and told their stories. We understand how intimidating it can be in an environment that fosters these kinds of sentiments. Remember, your voice is your power and we need to hear from you to make changes in your workplace. Together, we will bring meaningful change to all of our nurses.
