We have a deal!
Posted Nov 17, 2021
We met with management today, Nov. 17. We have reached a TA (Tentative Agreement). We are recommending a YES vote.
Wage increases effective Jan. 1, 2022, 2023, 2024:
6.5%, 3%, 3%
Retention bonus $500 April 1, 2022, and $1000 Dec. 1, 2022, to all full-time and part-time RNs currently employed and still with the hospital as of those dates.
IBD is now double time without the additional $6.50/hour. This will be a significant increase over time and a half we currently have in the contract.
Premium increases:
- Evening shift differential increased to $3/hr.
- Night shift differential increased to $4/hr.
- Standby increased to $4/hr. and $5/hr. for Holidays
- Callback guaranteed 3 hours when in call back
- Charge pay increased to $2.50/hr. and relief charge increased to $2.25/hr
- Unit Resource increased to $2.50/hr.
New Per Diem commitment and per diems will have full access to the grievance procedure.
Continuing education $500 first come first serve basis with a yearly limit of $25,000 cap.
A full summary of the TA will be provided at the vote on Dec. 6 along with a red-line version of the contract for review. Times and location of the vote will be determined, and you will be updated as soon as possible. We are planning at this juncture to do an in-person vote.
Lovella Flores, Marisela Aguilar, and Lori Riojas worked hard to get the best contract we could get. Make sure you thank them for their hard work and commitment to this process.
