Grievance Win on BSN/MSN Premium

WSNA recently settled a grievance over non-payment of BSN premium. The new language provides an amnesty period for newly hired nurses. New hires will receive the premium from their start date if they turn in a copy of their paperwork during the first pay period. The settlement protects nurses who have turned in their paperwork but haven't received the premium. Your WSNA Co-Membership Officers, Kristin Malmo and Sage Jones, conduct new hire orientation every other Friday. Their presentation contains a slide about BSN premiums to ensure that everyone is informed.
