Time Clock Bargaining Update
Posted Sep 15, 2023
We continue bargaining with PeaceHealth over unilateral changes to their timekeeping practices.
On September 15, we had our second meeting with a federal mediator and PeaceHealth administration representatives from multiple facilities. While we did not reach agreement, we are making progress towards the goal of establishing language that ensures you are being paid appropriately for all the time you spend working, as well as not being forced to sacrifice your PTO.
If you worked your full FTE for a shift and were still docked PTO, please let your union representative know. For example, if you clocked in three minutes early, clocked out three minutes early, and had three minutes of PTO deducted for your shift, email your WSNA nurse rep.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 2.
For questions, please contact your WSNA Nurse Representative.
