PHSW nurses voted YES to ratify our 2024-2026 contract!
Posted Jun 6, 2024
After ten hours of voting and unprecedented turnout across the bargaining unit, we've counted the ballots and can officially announce PeaceHealth Southwest's nurses have voted YES to ratify our 2024-2026 contract! Many thanks to the bargaining unit members who stayed to help count ballots after polls closed at 8 p.m.
The new terms – including wage increases – will go into effect on June 16, 2024. You'll see another wage increase on March 1, 2025, and our contract will expire on February 28, 2026. Once the new contract is fully signed we'll post it on your local unit page.
Your support, strength, and solidarity over the past several months were essential components of every win in this contract, but we know our work isn't done. Reach out to your WSNA Nurse Representative Travis Elmore Nelson at telmore@wsna.org and your WSNA Nurse Organizer Sammy Scholl at sscholl@wsna.org to learn more about how you can get involved as we continue to build power for nurses at PeaceHealth Southwest over the coming months.
In unity,
Your Bargaining Team
