Bargaining Update - Day 2
Posted Jan 22, 2024
On January 22, 2024, our contract negotiation team met with PeaceHealth Southwest administration for our first day of in person negotiations.
We gave management much of our opening proposal, including proposals that address priorities you stated in the contract negotiation survey like staffing standards and pay that would keep our members competitive with Oregon. We also asked management for an update related to the conversation we had on Friday related to workplace violence. Management assured us that there will be an update tomorrow.
WSNA is requesting that EVERY NURSE wear a “I Support My Bargaining Team" sticker on negotiation days. Please contact a member of the bargaining team or WSNA Organizer Sam Scholl for a sticker. Send us your pictures or share on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/phsw_nurses/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D.
Please follow “Vancouver RN’s Care for US” on Facebook.
