Negotiations Update Session One

And……we’re off!

On February 25, your WSNA team of staff nurses met with the County for the first bargaining session. Based upon the priorities you all identified, we were able to start out strong, right out of the gate! We made a comprehensive proposal to the County. At our next sesion, we plan to make wage proposals that both retain the experienced nurses we have, and recruit nurses to work at the County.

We feel good about this session because:

It was productive to have discussions and answer questions about our proposal.

We appreciated hearing that we are aligned and share some interests, already.

We were able to schedule the next three sessions, next is March 27.

We anticipate receiving proposals from the County on that date. Read all WSNA communications and stay tuned for our unity action on that date and how all the nurses can actively support the team to gain a strong, fair contract for 2026-2027!
