It's survey time again
Posted Jan 17, 2025
Your WSNA bargaining team is headed back to contract negotiations to begin bargaining with the County for the 2026-2027 collective bargaining agreement (CBA)!
We last surveyed the represented staff nurses in April of 2024. This survey below will ensure we are working from the most current responses from all of you. Take 5-10 minutes to help inform and prepare your team about what matters most to the staff nurses in all divisions and locations across Public Health Seattle King County. You may include narrative to your responses if you choose.
Our last negotiations for the 2025 extension memorandum of agreement (MOA) were unique. This time, we will approach negotiations in the manner the bargaining unit is accustomed to. Your elected officers, WSNA negotiator and Nurse Representative meet in-person with the County and exchange proposals over a series of several sessions to come to a tentative agreement that we can recommend to the WSNA members in good standing to accept by a vote to ratify the agreement.
We always learn a lot, most important was that the more that actively engage in actions directly affects our progress at the bargaining table. Will you help your work site take action when called upon by your team and site reps? Make your priorities known. Take the survey today, which closes on January 31.
