Day one of negotiations is complete. Your WSNA team of nurses presented our initial proposal to Management with some articles reserved for continued discussion. We stressed to Management the need for substantive, competitive wage and premium increases so that we have enough nurses to provide safe staffing and safe patient care. We read the statement linked to below aloud to Management to start off the negotiations. Management has committed to providing us with a comprehensive response at out next session November 8.
