FREE union-supplied masks and Nurses' Day gifts distribution Wednesday, August 12, 2020
Posted Aug 10, 2020
On Wednesday, August 12, WSNA will distribute FREE face masks donated by our national union, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). Also at this time your bargaining unit will be distributing your nurses day gifts! Come down to the main entrance of the hospital and pick up your masks.
Wednesday, August 12, 2020
6:30 - 8:30 a.m and 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. (while supplies last)
We will be right in front of the hospital! Look for our tables and signs!
Since Gov. Inslee's statewide mandatory face covering order was put into effect. AFT and WSNA planned ahead and are ready to support our members and our community in their efforts to stay safe. Spread the word to your coworkers including our other union and non-union/non-RN workers. All are welcome!
These masks are not meant for clinical use, rather they are meant to help you protect yourself and your families in the community because our union cares about you off shift too.
We will be social distancing and wearing masks so come by and also pick up your nurses day gifts provided by your Local Unit officers!
Sincerely,
Your WSNA officers:
Natalie Walsborn, Chair
Stephanie McCulloch, Vice-Chair
Wendy Delzer, Secretary/Treasurer
Trina Partain, Grievance Officer
