Time clock changes
Posted May 24, 2023
On May 23, 2023, we met for our fifth bargaining session over the changes to the time clocks, the resultant wage discrepancies and how overtime is paid / calculated.
Both parties have submitted proposals and exchanged many counterproposals. Your WSNA bargaining teams seek to remedy adverse impacts on wages, disciplinary action/coaching, low census rotation, removing PTO without your approval, contradictory instructions on clocking in/out, etc. We will be meeting again to continue bargaining.
Overtime calculations (i.e. consecutive weekend, work on day off, overtime to include shift differential) will be addressed via the grievance process while we continue to work on reaching an agreement on the effects of the time clock rounding change. Please feel free to contact any of your officers or your nurse rep for any questions or concerns.
In the meantime, to help your bargaining team, please take this short survey before midnight on May 31, 2023:
