As your elected local unit Co-chair, I have been and will be the lead point-person for questions and concerns to advocate on behalf of all bargaining unit nurses. I coordinate with my co-officers, unit reps in your departments, and WSNA staff. We can make our union stronger and workplace safer here at Overlake. To succeed in these goals, your officers invite your active support and participation in membership, identifying issues, joining in conversations, taking action and social gatherings. We have a great union contract, check it out! I work nights on OSS, East 5 and have worked at OMC since 2006.

Last year during our 2024 contract negotiations, I went from being a non-union Overlake RN to a WSNA member and L&D union rep! I found so much meaning in taking action and advocating for what we deserve. I want what is best for ALL Overlake nurses and I take great pride in advocating for you all.

I have more than 15 years of nursing experience. I am known for my attention to detail and dedication to getting work done. I am passionate about providing quality care while remaining mindful of our patients’ individual needs. In addition to my career in nursing, I am a certified yoga instructor. In my free time, I love to play musical instruments, yoga, and love to travel with my family. I became a WSNA officer so I can advocate for nurses and help build a stronger local unit at Overlake by promoting membership.

I have worked at Overlake the ED since 2022. During our last contract negotiations, I saw how important it is to get involved in our union and talk with new hire nurses about the importance of strong WSNA membership for all nurses at Overlake.

Stacey has worked at Overlake in the ED since 2023 but has worked as a nurse for decades in California and Washington! She was on our bargaining team in 2024 and feels strongly that we must be union proud and know our rights as WSNA RNs at Overlake.

Katie has worked as an ED nurse at Overlake since 2023 and helped support contract negotiations in 2024 as a CAT member to help win a strong union contract! Her efforts helped engage even more Overlake nurses in a unified way. Way to go Katie!
