Are you required to change scrubs for work?
Are you required to change into hospital-issued scrubs before starting your shift? If the answer to this question is yes, then you are required to clock in before changing into scrubs. And after you have changed out of your scrubs. WSNA is requesting that any nurse who receives pushback from either management or your scheduler too please reach out to your nurse representative Stephenie Troftgruben.
ADOs
Anywhere you can have a conversation about what you plan to do on St. Patrick’s Day, you can talk about an ADO. If you are concerned about being retaliated against for filing an ADO let your unit reps know or your nurse representative. These forms are legally discoverable in court and can help protect you if something were to occur. These are also discussed at the hospital staffing committee, and management must respond to the nurses filing them, you are also always invited to come and speak at the hospital staffing committee if you file an ADO to explain why you filed it.
Step Placement
Have you been a nurse working at NW before integration in 2020? Are you placed on the appropriate Step for years worked as a nurse? If you have questions or concerns about your step placement, WSNA has filed a grievance over this issue, and we need nurses to come and speak about this issue.
Questions? Please contact WSNA Nurse Rep Stephenie Troftgruben at stroftgruben@wsna.org.
