Local unit meeting
Posted Jan 8, 2021
We need YOU ALL to participate!
Your local officers and WSNA staff will be on the call to answer questions about negotiations. However, our priority is to hear from you, and we are asking for your help in supporting those who are at the table fighting for all of you.
As you know from our communications, we are still waiting for an economic proposal from management related to wages and benefits for the nurses. While we are anticipating this for our next session on January 19, we want to show management that the nurses are united in our demands. We have simple actions that every nurse at Island can participate in that will send management a clear message about our resolve and tenacity.
In preparation for this interactive virtual meeting, we have some short survey questions we would like you to complete. Please access the survey here - there are only a few questions and should not take longer than 2 minutes to complete.
Please RSVP for the meeting so you can obtain the log in information. You will need the link and the program on your home computer ahead of the meeting so do not delay. This is a closed meeting, so we do need to verify your information in order to provide you with the log in link. Please rsvp for one of the two sessions planned:
Thursday January 14:
Session 1 8:15 – 9:30 a.m.
Session 2 5:15 – 6:30 p.m.
REMEMBER: Our next negotiations session is January 19, 2021!
Please contact one of the officers directly for any questions or concerns or email your nurse representative Sue Dunlap at SDunlap@wsna.org.
