Negotiation update
Posted May 16, 2019
Your WSNA team of registered nurses met with EvergreenHealth administration for our 14th session. This represented the 2nd session that was assisted by a Federal Mediator. Both parties exchanged desired changes and ideas but little progress was realized at the end of the day.
We agreed to meet again for a full day session on May 28. Your negotiation team of WSNA registered nurses continues to dedicate their expertise and experience to the process. They also are volunteering their time without any compensation for their hundreds of hours of efforts.
The priorities that remain for our team include fair wages that retain and recruit excellent nurses, better staffing language and more complete workplace violence language.
Stay tuned on how you might be able to help out in attaining a fair and comprehensive contract. For updates, log on to wsna.org.
