Beloved colleague and dear friend Barbara Curtis passed away at her home in Florida on Oct. 18, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was a past president of WSNA and a member of the WSNA Hall of Fame and the ANA Hall of Fame.

Several hundred nurses at Kadlec Medical Center, along with supporters, rallied on Monday to bring attention to ongoing contract negotiations, now in their sixth month.
The 2015 Seattle/King County Clinic, held Oct. 21-25, was an amazing success. Nearly $3.5 million in services were provided to more than 4,000 deserving people from our community. Thank you to the Registered Nurses who volunteered their time to serve so many people.
