Bargaining Team Annual Leave Donation
Your bargaining team worked hard over months through 19 bargaining sessions as well as many more additional meetings and events to secure a fantastic contract for you. Time spent representing you was their personal time and often required unpaid time away from work. Please consider donating some of your annual leave to your team members. VM has agreed to match the donations. You can download this fillable form in the document bar above or by using the direct link below. It will not automatically be sent to WSNA when you fill it out. You must save it to your device and then you can print or email the completed saved document. There is a deadline of 11 pm, Dec. 10, 2023 to return the form to your organizer Crystal Doll cdoll@wsna.org or one of your bargaining team members so the forms can be submitted to the hospital. Forms will also be available at the ratification vote.
Join a committee! Be a VOICE for nurses at VM

If you would like to sign up for one of the committees, we will have sign-up sheets at the ratification vote or you can email your nurse rep, sfrey@wsna.org or chair, Jane Hill-Littlejohn to add your name.
RN Workplace Violence Committee/Task Force - Workplace Violence Prevention Committee will discuss and make recommendations for safety items such as open entrances, check-in for visitors, metal detectors, etc.
Safety Committee – This committee is established by state law and gives workers a voice in identifying hazards and solutions in the workplace. We are looking for additional members for this committee.
Nurse Staffing Committee – we are continuing to look for member who are willing to fill open positions on the Nurse Staffing Committee. If your unit does not have a representative, we need you! This committee works together in a joint process with management to produce yearly staffing plans. This committee also discussions staffing complaints/ADOs and makes determination about needs for adjustments to staffing or other changes to prevent further issues.
Membership Committee - welcomes new nurses to WSNA, share with them about being in a union, and help nurses to sign up for membership and assists with other membership engagement activities.
