Negotiations update

Your bargaining team met with management for our seventh day of negotiating on Wednesday. Unfortunately, we don’t have good news to report. Management is still holding on to their economic proposal of 1.5% raises each year over the next three years which doesn’t even meet cost of living adjustments. Additionally, management has only proposed a 5 cent increase to call pay, we're demanding more based on how many hours of call we have to take.

We have made proposals for float pay differential, for weekend differential and for charge pay which management hasn't responded to at all.

Our proposals are designed to make our hospital more attractive to work for. Compared to other nearby hospitals we need to keep and reward the nurses who stay here. Now is the time to show your solidarity and proudly wear your WSNA buttons and badges. Our next negotiating dates are March 15, 17 and 19! STICKER UP AND BUTTON UP!

We will continue to fight for a fair and just contract and won’t settle for less. United we bargain, divided we beg!
