Stand with Providence nurses in Oregon

ONA AFL CIO logo

Friday, June 7, the Oregon Nurses Association gave their 10 day strike notice to Providence covering Providence St. Vincent, Providence Willamette Falls, Providence Newberg, Providence Hood River, Providence Medford, and Providence Milwaukie, telling Providence enough is enough. Over 3,000 nurses will join in solidarity taking a stand for their patients and the community beginning June 18, 2024, at 6 a.m.

Providence is trying to hire strike-break nurses right now.

We strongly encourage all nurses to stand in solidarity with these ONA members and not accept travel nurse contracts scheduled to start in June or July for these employers.

Let's help support our fellow UNION Providence RNs! You can help by standing on the picket line in solidarity at any of the above locations on June 18, 19 or 20 from 0600-2000. Be sure to take pictures and wear your WSNA shirts and gear if you go! It would also be helpful to sign the petition below!
