Survivor Day is coming up on November 18. This day serves as the time when people affected by suicide loss find comfort and gain understanding as they share stories of healing and hope. Each year, 44,193 Americans die by suicide. Despite this high rate of suicides, data shows that there is a dwindling number of psychiatrists in the country. As a result, more psychiatric nurses are required to help treat and care for patients.
